Alan Grassia is a self-proclaimed mobile technology addict, Apple fan boy, Diet Coke guzzler, and the editor for the Smartphone Fanatics blog. His current smartphone is the Apple iPhone 7 Plus and his first Apple computer was the Apple //e.

When not blogging about new mobile technology and gadgets, he works as an IT services manager in charge of the teams supporting Microsoft Windows client, Windows Server, Citrix solutions and VMware vSphere 6.0. Alan also is a long time OpenText customer and manages Content Server 10.5, Archive Server 10.5 and ECM Everywhere 10.5.

Purchasing a Palm IIIx in 1999 would become the genesis for the idea to write the Palm Powered(tm) Desk Reference, a self published title, which won acclaim from the Palm OS community as being the authoritative reference guide for Palm OS device owners.

Alan has also held discussion forum moderators status for Palm’s official discussion boards, Brighthand.com, and 1SRC.com, where he also hosted their weekly 1SRC Palm Powered podcast. He has also written for Jimmie Geddes’ GadgetsOnTheGo.net blog.
